The first patient to receive gene therapy for an incurable type of blindness has been treated as part of a trial involving Imperial College London. More
The National Heart and Lung Institute, led by Professor Kim M Fox, is an Institute of Imperial College London, Faculty of Medicine based on sites at Royal Brompton and Harefield, Hammersmith, St Mary’s, South Kensington and Charing Cross.
The Institute has, as its central interest, all aspects of heart, lung and cardiovascular disease and includes sections working in respiratory, cardiovascular and molecular medicine.
Represents the largest group of researchers working on lung disease in Europe.
