National Heart & Lung Institute (NHLI)

The National Heart and Lung Institute, led by Professor Kim M Fox, is an Institute of Imperial College London, Faculty of Medicine based on sites at Royal Brompton and Harefield, Hammersmith, St Mary’s, South Kensington and Charing Cross.

The Institute has, as its central interest, all aspects of heart, lung and cardiovascular disease and includes sections working in respiratory, cardiovascular and molecular medicine.

NHLI Masters - Applications Open

All NHLI Masters courses start in October each year and require varying periods of experience in the speciality.  Courses are 12 months full-time unless otherwise stated.  Places on all courses are limited and early application is recommended.

Cardiovascular Science

Extends from basic to clinical and from cardiac science to public health.

Respiratory science

Represents the largest group of researchers working on lung disease in Europe.
