This advanced and interactive course aims to give you a solid foundation in the knowledge and skills that are required to work as a Molecular Epidemiologist.
The course has been run for four years at Imperial College, after a series of successful editions in Lyon (IARC), Torino (Italy), New York, Sweden and other locations.
The Faculty is internationally renowned and the topics covered are at the forefront of research. The course addresses both methodological issues related to the design of Molecular Epidemiology studies, and the most recent laboratory techniques, in particular omics, taking advantage of the skills available in London, Leeds and Newcastle. Examples of topics are new designs in Molecular Epidemiology, proteomics, epigenetics and metabonomics.
The course will consist of lectures and tutorials with experts and is designed for postdoctoral fellows working in either epidemiology or laboratory settings.
